WHO WE ARE?
Salinlahi Alliance for Children’s Concerns, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit national alliance that aims to unite and strengthen the network of various initiatives in response to the needs and concrete situation of the Filipino children. It also aims to promote children’s rights and welfare both locally and internationally.
Salinlahi Alliance was established in April 23, 2008. We take our roots from the Salinlahi Foundation, Inc. established on June 24, 1986 born out of the “National Conference of the Filipino Child Today: In Crisis” on January 26, 1986, from its main resolution in forming an alliance for children’s concerns.
Today, Salinlahi Alliance spearheads the progressive and nationalist alliance for children focused organizations and programs for child rights and children empowerment for genuine and social transformation.
Salinlahi’s mission is to lead the progressive and nationalist work for children’s empowerment as a contribution to the movement for genuine social transformation.
Salinlahi’s vision is that of a just, free and humane society which cares for its children, and ensures that each child is given all opportunities to develop his/her own capacities to be healthy, creative, analytical, non-sexist and love their fellow human beings, their country and the environment.
